How do I get in contact with you?

How do you package your books?

We use card envelopes or cardboard wraps to make sure you receive your orders in perfect condition.

Are Your Books Graded?

Yes they are. Each book has been inspected and Graded between 5* for Perfect or New and all the way down to 1* which would be a Library book or something so well read it’s a disgrace.

Full Grading Below:

***** 5 Star. Mint. New or still in its wrapping.

**** 4 Star. Excellent condition, read and stored.

*** 3 Star. A Tight, Tidy copy with only light wear and tear.

** 2 Star. Well read, May have small tears and wear to cover or dust Jacket.

* 1 Star. Ex-Library book. Could have stickers, and hard wear and tear.

Each book has a clear rating in the book description text.

What Condition is your sale items in ?

Well some are Mint like the Hachett or Eaglemoss collections, some still in cellophane, others are Ex-Library books so a 1 or 2* rating. Each book has a clear rating in the book description text.

How do I use store credit?

To access this Store Credit is super simple, just click on the customer log-in top right of the site, put in the email address you signed up with and you will be sent a one time password to access the funds and add them to an order or use with any other offers that we have running including unused 20% off order codes and free shipping if you spend over £50. 

What country are you based?

We are based in the UK in leafy Buckinghamshire. We are an online retailer only so we have no bricks and mortar store.

Ordering Questions

How long does an order take to process?

We aim to get the order packed up and shipped the next day.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept a large range of payment options displayed at the bottom of the page. We now also take Klarna.

Do you offer next day delivery?

No. You can choose to upgrade your shipping to faster tracked delivery. The order will still ship the next day.

What happens if my card payment isn’t successful?

All payments are taken in real time so they will know if there is no money in the chosen account, just move funds about and try again.

Do you keep all my Credit Card details on file?

No. We have no access to any of your credit card details, Shopify deal with all Credit Card payments. We can issue refund but no access to your financial information.

Delivery Questions

How much will my delivery cost?

All orders to a UK address Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery are £2.65 per Trade Paperback and £3.50 for Hardcovers. You can choose to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 24 at checkout. Our order processing time is 1-2 working days from the date of order confirmation.

Can you deliver internationally?

Yes we can. We deliver to Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We are testing shipping to Europe just to see if the paperwork is a bad as we have heard, not being a member of the European Union makes it almost impossible to ship to Europe but we will try shipping to 5 key countries to start. Because of tariffs we no longer deal with the US.

How is my order being sent?

It will be sent by the post you choose and will be packed up and shipped the next day.

When can I expect my order to arriv?

That depends on your choice of postage. 2nd Class takes 2 to 3 days and Next day takes 24 hours.
