This is the third of five paperbacks collecting the Batman: No Man's Land storyline. These paperback were published from 1999 to 2001 (not to be confused by four paperbacks published in 2011 and 2012 collecting the No Man's Land storyline).
This paperback collects the Batman: No Man's Land comic books which were published in July to September, 1999 (with Batman #566 published in June, 1999). This part of the No Man's Land storyline was Written by: Kelley Puckett, Greg Rucka, Larry Hama and Janet Harvey. The illustrations were by: Jon Bogdanove, Damion Scott, Mike Deodato, Jr., Dan Jurgens, Rick Burchett and Sergio Cariello.
Following a devastating earthquake and a government order that Gotham City be declared a no man's land, a new social structure has emerged in the ravaged city -- one fraught with violence and desperation. Two-Face, the Penguin, Killer Croc and other villains battle for territory and the control of a quickly diminishing supply of food. But a few brave souls still stand for justice in Gotham, including Batman, Robin, Oracle, Nightwing and a mysterious new Batgirl.
