As he reminisces about the career of Green Lantern from the early acts of heroism to his tragic downfall and finally his eventual sacrificial redemption, Tom is entrusted with Hal's greatest legacy, a young boy claiming to be the fallen hero's son. Interweaving classic action sequences with the personal reactions of Hal's closest friends and loved ones, the true impact and emotion of this tragic hero is felt in this poignant testament to one of the most classic characters in the DC Universe.
