THE DREAMER (2000 DC Comics) is a semi-fictional story of a young man who dreams of working in the world of comic books in the 1930s. Along the way he meets those who share his dream, and others who have dreams of their own.
While fiction, this graphic novella is an accurate reflection of the early days of comic books. Recognizable in the story's characters are such legends as Bob Kane, Lou Fine, Jack Kirby and others who appear under pseudonyms.
